JAPANESE BEETLE

Insect that is 15mm long and 10mm wide. Copper and green colored. It is smaller than a June bug but similar. 

Host Plants: Over 200 species of plants. Common ones: Birch, Linden and Cherry trees.

Damage:  Damage to plants by skeletonizing the leaf. Consuming only the leaf material between the veins, thus causing early leaf drop.
